Getting Here Via the Scenic Route
Since we're located right on the Trans-Canada Highway 2, it is easy to exit 21, and you're right on our door. But if you're coming from the west, or south, you have alternative route choices, that are more scenic than the more commonly chosen route, and this page of our website addresses these choices. For points east, the Trans-Canada has beautiful vistas, and that is the route of choice.
From the South: From I-95, exit at Sherman Oaks and pick up State Route 11. As you pass through Patten, stop at the Lumberman's Museum, where, in addition to learning about the lives and work of lumbermen, you will learn the history of the road you are driving. Continue north to Fort Kent and pause for pictures of yourself at the Northern Terminus of US Rte 1. Cross the border into Canada and turn right to joint Rte 120. The original Claire settlement is on your right, before you leave town, and worth a look. Rte 120 will join Rte 144 in Edmundston, which you follow for 2 miles, crossing the Madawaska River, then the Iroquois River to our RV Park immediately on your right.
From the West: While driving on the Trans-Canada Highway, about 20 kilometers south of RiviƩre-du-Loup, exit east onto Route 289. The route will be marked "to the frontier", or, the border. Follow Rte 289 and at the New Brunswick border, the route becomes 120. Rte 120 eventually joins Rte 144, which you will follow through Edmundston, crossing the Madawaska River, then the Iroquois River, to our RV Park immediately on your right.
